If you want to master the law of attraction, there are a few key points to getting that metaphysical ball rolling. First, if you’re new to this endeavor, you can read The Law of Attraction for Beginners and 3 Law of Attraction Principles You’re Getting Wrong. In this article we’re going to explore how to master the law of attraction effortlessly. I’m not saying there isn’t any work involved. As you probably know, most of the work is in overcoming old habits and increasing your awareness. Monitoring your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and actions is key to creating the kind of energy that will draw exactly what you desire. Here though, we’ll focus on three fundamental principles which align with creating a positive flow of abundant energy.
To master the law of attraction, you need to get in the mindset of looking at the corresponding equivalent to just about everything. Wherever you see opposing forces, feel in conflict, are in reaction, take a polarizing position, experience extremism, you will encounter forces that are not working in harmony with cosmic law or your divine self. Not to say there isn’t place for activism and making change. For the purpose of this article, we are focusing on the path of least resistance… the effortless aspect of positive manifesting.
How to Master the Law of Attraction Effortlessly | Using 3 Prime Principles
Flow Not Force – Right off the bat, let’s talk about what the law of attraction isn’t. It isn’t about force or desperately trying to get it to work. By principle, it is the exact opposite. Sort of like when you no longer “need” something, it magically seems to appear. It’s not that the universe is messing with you. It doesn’t play favorites. It simply returns to you that which is in kind, matching your energetic output. Think of the times when you tirelessly worked on something, trying to make it work, come hell or high water. Then, when you finally surrendered, things started to move in the direction you wanted. We’ll cover more on this one next.
Point is manifestation happens with ease. It flows and follows the path of least resistance. More on that later too. Why do you think we so easily manifest trouble? It’s because worry, fear, stress, anxiety, anger, all the negative emotions are the common denominator. They are by far the easiest to succumb to. We do it well. In fact, we do it so well that, for many of us, it becomes the default. We return to the comfort of these emotions because we know them well and we can safely remain at the bottom.
It’s not that we don’t want more, it is that we are comfortably familiar with being at the bottom. So comfortable that it becomes difficult to imagine something better. If we predominantly spend time on these emotions, in the state of negativity, it is of no surprise that we attract more of the same. Again, the universe does not play favorites, it simply returns to us that which we put out. The negativity flows back to us with ease.
Think about the last time you began to feel emotionally and mentally deflated. How easy it is to pile on one negative thought and feeling onto the other. It becomes a landslide of emotions and soon we find our state plummeting. There is no force applied here either. The drop happens with ease. While it doesn’t feel easy, it is effortless when we begin to experience loss of hope. Climbing up however, that’s a different story. Comparatively speaking, it is by its nature the opposite experience. Its nature being that it’s NEW, it’s unfamiliar. It takes work to build upon the unfamiliar. The downward journey spirals as if to have gravity on its side, while the upward build is like pushing a snowball uphill.
Think of that snowball as building your mindset muscles. You’re going to have all sorts of thoughts and feelings that need to be challenged. Again, that’s the hard part. Staying on track is the only area you might apply force if you consider discipline and conviction a force. Let’s call it positive force in the form of non-judgmental dedication. It is the commitment to keep going and get back on the horse should you fall, and to do it without judgment. The rest is about allowing things to flow naturally. Abundance seeks to flow freely. It is not about force. It is about allowing and the willingness to receive.
Letting Go – To master the law of attraction we must first know what we want, then focus on that desire with clarity and commitment, visualize it, ask for it, and take proper action when the time comes. As we discussed in the last point, abundance cannot be forced because it is, in its essence, free flowing and so we must match it with the same energy. When we visualize the thing we want, believing in its successful arrival, we create an energetic match that makes the perfect environment for receiving. If, however, we begin to fret with anticipation, or feel impatient about its arrival, we are no longer creating the right environment.
If we are waiting for good news sometimes, we check for it obsessively. We know it’s not helping, but we do it anyway. The moment we start this behavior we change the environment from one of faith and confidence to that of worry and doubt. As for the latter, both are not conducive to positive results. Understandably, we feel impatient when we are in a tight situation or in need of help.
The very best thing you can do once you have mastered the art of bringing your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs into alignment, is to turn your focus to a joyful task and let go. This is the art of non-attachment. Unfortunately, desperation follows the energy of attachment, and it fails to draw anything but more disappointment. To maintain a positive state of being that energetically matches your goal is a job well done, now you must let the universe handle the rest.
Non-resistance – Non-resistance is similar to non-attachment or letting go. Letting go is not about giving up, it’s about loosening the grip on how we think things “should” happen and allow them to happen in the most uplifting way possible. Where we step out of the way and let the universe handle the details. In this case, we are letting go of resistance. That applies to everywhere we experience resistance whether we are pushing away our troubles and the things we hate, or we are resisting learning new things, or even resisting something essential like expressing love.
To master the law of attraction we also need to consider all the areas in which we engage in conflict by way of resistance. We could even be resisting having our dreams fulfilled or the vulnerable feeling of being hopeful. If we’re inundated with debt or a backlog of tasks that have been unattended, we might resist thinking about them or dealing with them altogether. While it could be a good thing not to focus on debt, avoiding it can carry more intense energy if it weighs heavily on the subconscious. Fighting, avoiding, hating, pushing away, ignoring, all these are a form of resistance. They create conflict which isn’t conducive to the flow of abundance.
Anything we do to push something away means that we are actually drawing it near because we are still placing our attention on the thing. Here, we can practice acceptance and surrender. It’s not about giving up; it’s about acknowledging without judgment and allowing for its natural dissolution. Not as a means of pretending the thing is going away on its own, but as a start. It is the start to looking with eyes wide open, in the absence of judgment, and allowing for real resolution. One that doesn’t come from fighting with the thing.
The more energy spent on hate, the more that which we hate is brought to the foreground. Remember, we’re talking about mastering the law of attraction effortlessly. That means that we face conflicts without entering the zone of reactivity. We don’t suppress real feelings, we simply suspend reaction and entertain that there are possible positive outcomes or resolutions of which we do not yet know. Wherever there is resistance, conflict, reactive emotion, we do our best to dissolve these and allow new possibilities to enter. We don’t need to figure out exactly “how” it will work, we need only open to the possibility of a favorable outcome.
These three key areas will help you master the law of attraction as they focus on allowing. They are in their philosophy the act of surrendering to the powers greater than the fixations of our minds. True, we can tap into our greater wisdom, but sometimes the wisdom comes when we let go… just a little bit.
